Dr. Dave Kujak
Hi, I’m Dr. Dave, and my journey to becoming an orthodontist started as a kid with a less-than-perfect smile. When I was told I needed three years of braces and jaw surgery for my “class three malocclusion” (fancy words for “my bite needed serious help”), I was understandably nervous. But somewhere between wires and elastics, I became fascinated with the process—and inspired by the transformation a great smile can bring. Turns out, my awkward adolescent grin was just the start of a lifelong passion.
I grew up right here in the coulee region, graduated from Central High School, and stayed local for my undergraduate degree at UW-La Crosse. From there, I headed to the University of Kentucky to earn my DMD and a master’s degree in Oral Biology. After a few years of straightening smiles in Nashville, I returned home in 2013 to take over this incredible practice. These days, I feel lucky to help people of all ages to have a healthier, more confident smile. When I’m not creating smiles in the office, you can probably find me cheering my kids on at their events. As a parent, there’s nothing better than watching your child grow into their most confident self, and I feel so lucky that my team and I get to help others experience that same confidence every day.
